Let us introduce ourselves…
The AGRI Project is a unique knowledge transfer project run in partnership by Aston University and Harper Adams University. We are part funded by the European Regional Development Fund which allows us to provide our support for FREE to eligible businesses.
The aim of our project is to help SMEs in the Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin area break down barriers to innovation allowing them to work more productively and more efficiently. To date we have supported well over 100 companies and have gone on to do more in depth collaborative work with a number of those where there is potential for further innovation within the business.
The key sectors we support are agri-tech and agri-food with the support we provide being relevant to the entire supply chain. Typically we work with food and drink producers / manufacturers, tech companies and any other businesses wishing to diversify into those areas.
We have worked on some very cool supports from prototype development for asset tracking technology to recipe development for vegan truffles to zero waste initiatives. Each and every support we provide is completely bespoke to the company we are working with and that is just the way we like it! If you have an idea for a way that your business could operate more innovatively, why don’t you get in touch and see if we can help? we’d love to hear from you.
